The Cotswold Hat Club started in Stow-on-the-Wold in Gloucestershire as a personal collection of hats, amassed by going to race days and weddings. By 2024 the collection had grown to over 650 hats, headpieces and headbands, and founder Rachel sold it to current owner Charlotte, who had been a customer since the early days of the Cotswold Hat Club.

The hat collection has now moved to St Albans in Hertfordshire, but kept the original name and the same great, personal service - we're happy to offer styling advice to every customer, whether they're able to come to the studio in person or remotely via email/WhatsApp. 

The Cotswold Hat Club has a wide selection of both Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter hats, perfect for all occasions. We stock everything from huge, elaborate hats to small, understated fascinators and we also have a range of beautiful fedoras, trilbies, panamas and boaters too. Even if you’re a hat novice, we will have something for you.

Hats can be hired in two ways: either as a one-off hire or by becoming a member of The Cotswold Hat Club. Membership of the Hat Club permits unlimited hires throughout the year - it’s perfect for the regular or perpetual wedding guest.
