Wedding hat hire

Should I wear a hat to a wedding?

Yes! A wedding is a really special event for the couple, their friends and family, and a hat makes an outfit extra special. Nothing makes us happier than hiring out hats for weddings - except perhaps seeing a big group photo afterwards of lots of happy women at the wedding wearing our hats.

If you're Mother of the Bride or Groom, you might want to choose one of our large, statement hats such as Natasha or Flame – as long as your son/daughter is happy with it, you can be as bold as you like! Other guests might want to choose slightly smaller but equally fabulous pieces. See the full collection.

Help! I don’t know what kind of hat to wear!

If you’re in any kind of doubt about what kind of hat to wear, what will suit the aesthetic of the wedding or your outfit, get in touch - we’ll be only too happy to help.

We’ve been to a lot of weddings and worn a lot of hats and we’ll know how to match the hat to the occasion.

We always recommend you choose your outfit first; once you’ve got that sorted, get in touch - you can come to our studio in St Albans to try on the hats, or if that’s too far away, we can send you some options via email/WhatsApp - we promise this works and the colours, hat and outfit will look good together.

Can I wear a hat to a wedding abroad?

If you’re going to a destination wedding, you can still hire from us - just tell us when you’re booking the hat as we may need to adjust the dates of your booking slightly.

A headband is a great option for a wedding abroad as it’s easier to pack and less likely to get damaged.

We do ask that you take particular care of the hat if you’re flying to the wedding, please don’t check the hat into the hold where it’s likely to be squashed. Either carry it in its box as hand luggage, or even wear it on the flight!
