Aintree hat hire

The Randox Grand National: Thursday 3rd April - Saturday 5th April 2025

What should I wear to Aintree?

The Jockey Club dress code states that you should come to Aintree “dressed to feel your best” - there is no formal requirement to wear or not wear any particular type of clothing. Because the festival falls in early April, you’ll need to be prepared for any kind of weather!

Hats are commonplace at Aintree racing and many of the pieces in our Autumn/Winter collection would work very well, especially for Day 1. If you’re feeling optimistic about the weather, it’s not too early to select a piece from our Spring/Summer collection for Ladies Day or the Grand National on Day 3, but we’d recommend choosing a smaller, silk-based piece rather than a larger straw-based hat which are more suited to the summer months. Our free styling service is there to help, get in touch with details or photographs of the rest of your outfit and we will be happy to advise.

What should I wear to Ladies’ Day at Aintree?

Friday (Day 2) of the festival is known as Ladies’ Day where guests are invited to go the extra mile. To really stand out from the crowd you could wear one of our statement pieces such as Bianca or Maisie.

The Style Awards are given to the best-dressed race-goers, including one prize for sustainable dressing with an emphasis on borrowing or renting an outfit - naturally we couldn’t support this more - if you win let them know your got the hat from us!

Can you help me find the perfect hat for Aintree?

Yes! We offer free styling advice to help you make the perfect choice.

Once you’ve got your outfit sorted, get in touch and we can make some recommendations.

You can come to our studio in St Albans, or if that’s too far away, we can send you some options via email/WhatsApp - we promise this works and the colours will match!
